Privacy Policy
Persona Lens analyses the most personal thing you have — your real conversations. We built it the way we'd want any product that touches our own messages to be built: minimum data collection, no resale, no training on your chats, and nothing stored on our servers beyond what's strictly needed to deliver your reading.
What we collect
- The chat you submit. The text you paste or import is processed to generate one reading and is not retained after the reading is delivered.
- Anonymous usage events. App opens, lens selections, and crash reports — no chat content, no names, no identifiers tied to you.
- Purchase receipts. If you upgrade to Pro or buy credits, Apple processes the payment. We receive a receipt from Apple confirming entitlement — we never see your card details.
What we never collect
- Your Instagram DMs, contacts, photos, calendar, or location.
- Your real name, phone number, or email — unless you contact us directly.
- Any chat content beyond the one you actively submit.
How your chat is processed
When you submit a conversation, it is sent over an encrypted connection to our stateless analysis backend, processed to generate your reading, and then discarded. The chat is not retained, not logged, and not used to train any model. The only thing kept is the reading you receive — and that reading lives in encrypted local storage on your iPhone, not on our servers.
Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers, brokers, or third parties. The only sub-processors we use are Apple (for app distribution and in-app purchases), and our hosting provider for serving this website. None of them see your chat content.
Your rights
Persona Lens does not maintain an account for you. There's nothing to log into and nothing tied to your identity. Deleting the app removes everything generated on your device. We do not maintain any direct-contact channel for this app, so there is no correspondence on our side to delete.
Children
Persona Lens is not designed for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a minor has used the app, contact us and we will assist.
Changes to this policy
If we change anything material about how Persona Lens handles your data, we will update this page and note the change in-app before the change takes effect.
