Terms of Use

By downloading or using Persona Lens, you agree to these terms. They are intentionally short and plain.

What Persona Lens is

Persona Lens is a personality-analysis app for iOS. You submit a conversation, you choose a lens, and you receive a reading — a Persona Card, the lens's modules, an Awards Ceremony where applicable, and a portrait written in the voice of the lens you chose. The analysis is generated by software and is intended for self-reflection and entertainment, not as professional diagnosis of any kind.

What Persona Lens is not

Persona Lens is not a medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal, or financial service. The readings it produces are not clinical assessments, are not predictive of behaviour, and should not be used to make decisions about another person's relationships, employment, or wellbeing without their consent and a qualified professional.

Your responsibilities

Pricing and subscriptions

Your first reading is free. After that, you can buy individual credits or subscribe to Persona Lens Pro. All purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store and are subject to Apple's standard refund and cancellation rules. You can cancel a subscription anytime from your iPhone Settings.

Intellectual property

The readings generated for you are yours — share them, screenshot them, post them, frame them. The app itself, its branding, its lens system, the visual design of the Persona Card, and the underlying analysis methodology remain the intellectual property of Persona Lens.

No warranty

Persona Lens is provided as-is. Readings are software-generated interpretations and may be wrong, partial, or unflattering. They are not the truth about you — they are one possible mirror. Treat them accordingly.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Persona Lens is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our maximum liability to you is limited to what you've paid us in the past 12 months.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be flagged in-app before they take effect.
